Triumph in Tribulation

In our Nearing the End study, we begin looking at chapter 14 in the book of Revelation.

This chapter is completely opposite of the previous one, in that instead of dwelling on beasts and Satan worshipers, we will now see believers worshiping Jesus Christ.

Verse one brings on the scene a Lamb and one hundred and forty-four thousand people having the Father's name written on their foreheads.

We identify today, who the Lamb is and what these people are doing in worship to Jesus Christ.

Satan's Worship Leader

Today's lesson has us looking at the second beast mentioned in Revelation chapter 13.

This beast is not the same beast as is mentioned in the beginning of the chapter. We will review the first beast and introduce this second beast and the unholy trinity of Satan.

What will this beast do? What will the people that are left behind do?  We will answer these questions and more in today's lesson.

The World's Last Dictator, Part Two

Revelation 13:1-10 talks of a beast and a dragon.  Who or what are these things?

In today's lesson, we identify them, and see how they are going to act during the tribulation period.

Will many people be influenced by them? Yes, many people will be trapped into their lies and will believe and be amazed at the things they see and hear.

Some people will not believe what this dictator will say. They will realize that his words are fromt he devil.

Even today, the devil works through others to try to pull us away from God. How can we distinguish what is from God and what is not?  At the end of the lesson, Brother Mark will give some very important concepts to remember, to help us distinguish between what is from God and what is from Satan.

The World's Last Dictator, Part One

What does it mean to be a dictator?

In today's lesson, we look at this definition and see how this "dictator" during the tribulation will act.

What is the "dictator" like? He will be very, very wicked.  Who will be working behind the scenes, through this dictator?  Satan will be.

You see, Satan is a spirit-being, and he can't operate effectively on earth except by using other people's passions and personalities.

Satan will deceive this man, and this man will deceive many that will be left on earth after the rapture.

The Great War of the Ages, Part Three

Finishing the lesson on the great war, finds us in Revelation 12:12 to the end of the chapter.

An apology is necessary due to us not having any audio with this lesson, but the following information will, Lord willing, help you gain insight into this interesting lesson.

Within the great war, during the tribulation, Satan will be filled with a great wrath. His access to heaven will be cut off, and even though we in heaven will be rejoicing over that fact, Satan will still be working hard to prevent Jesus' final return to set up His eternal kingdom.

Revelation 12:13 tells us that Satan will be persecuting the woman who brought forth the man child. This tells us that Satan will be persecuting Israel, which out of Israel, came Jesus.

The "woman" will be given two wings so that she can fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she will be nourished. God will give Israel the protection that she needs to endure this persecution.  God always gives us protection - even if it means we must die to be protected and safe from the evil one.

Revelation 12:15 says that Satan will cast water out of his mouth like a flood, after the woman.  Satan will rally his armies against Israel, but he will not succeed.

Jesus has provided safety and surety to His people. The Bible says that earth will help the woman. The earth will open her mouth and swallow the flood of armies that Satan will attempt to use. God will provide supernatural abilities and also natural resources on the earth to protect His people.

God's people are not just the people that He has chosen.  In fact, God has chosen all of us. He wants and desires all of us to be saved from hell and to live eternally with Him.  Each of us have a choice to make. We will either ignore God's pleas and follow the devil or we will turn to Him, believing that He is our Savior.  God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross a long, long time ago.  Jesus was perfect. His body was perfect, His mind, actions, speech, and thoughts were all perfect. His blood flowed down that cross and God saw that from heaven and knew that that perfect blood was the only payment that would cover your sins and mine.

If you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and that you know that you can't get to heaven by your own works, just tell God.  Just speak to him openly.  Tell Him that you know what He did for you and that you want Him to save you and give you eternal life forever when you die.

He will do it.  He has promised it, in the Bible.  Romans 10:9 says, That if thou (you) shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

See, not only did Jesus die for you, but He rose from the dead three days later.  It will be a wonderful day when we see our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and be able to spend eternity with him.

If you have made this important decision please take a moment to use the contact us form, to let us know.  We won't harass you, but we would like to send you some more information from the Bible so that you can learn exactly who Jesus is.

Your personal Lord died for you, won't you accept Him now?

The Great War of the Ages, Part Two

Satan is obviously against us, but what is our defense against him?

In today's lesson, we will look at:
        1. The cleansing
        2. The confession
        3. The courage
and see how these three items are used against Satan.

We would love to hear from you and help you in any way.

World Destiny

What will happen in the world at the sounding of the seventh trumpet?

The book of Revelation, in the Bible, is advanced history telling us how Jesus Christ becomes King of the world. Some people will be worshiping Jesus, knowing that He is the Savior of the world. Others will be angry at Him, not wanting to be ruled by Him.

In Revelation chapter 11, we see what John saw, as people are falling on their faces, in front of God. If we are going to be one of them, how practiced up are we?

Angels of Mass Destruction

God's sixth trumpet judgment releases an army of fallen angels to the earth.

What do these fallen angels intend to do?  This army's intentions are not to torment, but to kill. Using fire, smoke, and brimstone, one-third of the entire population will die.

For those people that are unlucky enough to live, what will their attitude be? In today's Sunday school lesson, we will begin to look at how these people will now think and live.

Do you want to be one of these people that have to go through this time of judgment? The decision is yours to make.

You can avoid the "hell on earth" by realizing that you are a sinner and that you cannot get to heaven by anything that you do.

Jesus came to the earth to die for our sins.  Only in His dying, has our sin payment been paid.

Once Jesus died, the Bible records that He was buried and three days later rose from the dead. He was seen by many people. The written account of this is in the Bible.

Believe that Jesus died for you. That you can't get to heaven without His payment, and then you will live eternally in heaven with Him.

If you have made that decision today, to believe that Jesus died for you, please contact us and let us know.  We would love to talk with you and answer any questions that you may have.

Now is the time. Avoid the judgment.

When all Hell Breaks Loose on Earth

The opening of the fifth trumpet judgment, opens up the bottomless pit. What comes out of the bottomless pit during this time of the tribulation, will bring supernatural judgment on the earth.

The Bible says that people will want to die and they can't. They will attempt suicide and it will be ineffective. Walking dead people will be present on earth, and it will be due to these supernatural judgments from these "locusts".

Will you be on earth during this horrible time? You don't have to be. The Bible says that we have to realize that we are a sinner. And that we can't get to heaven by our own merit. It took Jesus' perfect shed blood on the cross, a long time ago to cover our sins and pay the payment so that we can go to heaven.

We need to believe that Jesus died for us and that He was buried and then rose again three days later. We do not and cannot work our way to heaven, it is only through Jesus' death on the cross.

Pray to God. Tell Him that you know you are a sinner and that you want Jesus to save you from your sins. He will. He will cover your sins and you will live eternally in heaven with Him.

If you have made this decision today, please let us know. We would love to answer any further questions that you may have and help you to know Jesus better so that you can be more like Him.

The First Four Trumpet Judgments

In the middle of the tribulation, God starts his trumpet judgments. What will life on earth be like during this time? These judgments will be supernatural events that only God can do. Many people, animals, and plant-life will die.

Are you going to go through the tribulation? You don't have to. If you are saved, you will already be up in heaven with Jesus. You do not have to live through this horrible time on earth.

In order for you to go to heaven, you have to realize that you are a sinner. You, alone, cannot pay the price to cover you sins and get into heaven.

Jesus paid the price for you when he died on the cross. Jesus was perfect and God accepted Jesus' death and shed blood as payment to cover your sins. Jesus died for you.

All you have to do is believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, believe that He was buried and then rose again three days later and is now living in heaven with God. Pray and ask God to forgive you of your sins. Tell God that you believe that Jesus died for you.

It is that easy. You do not have to live through the tribulation. You do not have to spend eternity in hell.

If you asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to save you from hell, then please let us know. We would love to get in touch with you and encourage you in your new life with God.

The Calm Before the Storm

Have you ever experienced silence that is so deafening that it causes you to be frightened?

This type of silence will take place in heaven during the tribulation. The Bible says that it will last a half and hour.

This silence comes before the seven trumpet judgments. Certainly people present will be afraid. There is something else that also starts the trumpet judgments, and that is people praying.

In tonight's message, we look at prayer and see how God views our prayers. Do we view our praying the same way that God does? We should. It is our right, our reward, and our responsibility to do that which is most holy, and that is pray.
