Today’s Sunday School lesson begins by answering the question, What are the different views of the Millennium?
We will then go on in our study and answer the question of why there will be a Millennium.
Today’s Sunday School lesson begins by answering the question, What are the different views of the Millennium?
We will then go on in our study and answer the question of why there will be a Millennium.
Today’s lesson begins with us picking up our conversation answering the question, what will the millennium be like?
Then, we go answer a more focused question, what will WE be like in the millennium?
Scripture is our basis for looking at these wonderful details and thinking about what our lives will be like when Jesus comes back.
We continue today looking at different Bible passages, describing what the Millennium is going to be like.
You won’t want to miss it!
Continuing in our Nearing the End series, we begin looking at the Millennium.
We answer two questions.
What is the Millennium?
What will the Millennium be like?
The Bible gives us wonderful descriptions of what it will be like, and you certainly don’t want to miss out. The only way to spend this time with Jesus, is to believe that He died on the cross for your sins, realizing that it is only by His shed blood on the cross, that you can get to heaven.
As we talk about Jesus Christ’s return to earth, we see that Jesus will be coming with “the armies of heaven”.
Who or what makes up this army?
Where will the fighting be? And against whom?
As our lesson today continues, we discuss the battle of Armageddon, and get a view of what that will be like.
There are two ways of looking at Jesus’ second coming.
Either you are ready for Him, or you want Him to delay His coming.
Which are you?
Why should some people be afraid of Jesus’ return? Because the Bible clearly states that He is coming to execute judgment.
There will be some with Him though that will not be receiving this judgement. Instead, they will be finding rest, peace and shelter from the wrath of God.
Which will you be? Fearing? or Finding rest?
In today’s lesson, we look in-depth at the future marriage supper of the Lamb, and answer some pertinent questions.
Who is God selecting for His bride?
What is God’s promise to His bride?
What should the bride be like for the wedding?
What will occur at God’s wedding reception?
What does this mean for us today?
Babylonianism had reached an all time high. Babylon was going to fall.
The people were only interested and obsessed with their own interests, not God’s.
Was God going to stand for this? Absolutely not.
What are we obsessed with? Our own interests and desires?
Do people see our obsession in Jesus Christ, as it should be?
What is Babylonianism?
In today’s lesson we will see how the worship of the Babylonians have shaped how people worship today.
It is very easy to fall into the same style of worship and not even realize you are doing it.
This type of worship will get worse and worse as time goes on, especially after the rapture of the Saints.
Will you take an honest look at yourself and judge your own life, for this type of worship, before you are judged by God?
As we begin our lessons into Revelation chapter 17, we find ourselves asking many questions.
Who is the woman in this passage?
Who are the seven heads?
Who are the ten horns?
Who is the beast?
Who are the many waters?
In order to begin to answer these questions, we will compare God’s Word to itself and learn who/what these items are, and what it/they are going to do.
What exactly takes place near the end of the tribulation?
Utter destruction results as Armageddon takes place. You may hear people use the term Armageddon today, but what the Bible really says will happen is of no comparison to what you and I can only imagine it to be like.
Find out in today’s lesson exactly what will take place and why you don’t want to be left behind.
We learn more today about God’s great wrath.
This is a wrath that we never need to experience! Many, sadly, will though.
Don’t be among those whose hearts are hardened, accept Him today as your Savior.
Revelation 16 tells us of the wrath of God upon the inhabitants of this earth who have rejected Him.
He tells us, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”
Have you called upon Him? Make sure you don’t experience God’s great wrath.
Some will sing a song of victory, and some will cry of woe.
Some will reject the Savior, and some will believe.
Some will repent turning to God and some will run and hide.
But ALL will kneel before Him, some in mercy… and others facing fury.
The Great Winepress. As this scene unfolds, we witness the wrath of Jesus upon all of those people that reject Him. Will you be among those that are harvested with His sharp sickle?
The message of the angel in Revelation 14: 6-13, is the true Gospel. "False gospels" have been propagated through the ages, so listen, and beware! Put your faith in the one true Gospel.
In our Nearing the End study, we begin looking at chapter 14 in the book of Revelation.
This chapter is completely opposite of the previous one, in that instead of dwelling on beasts and Satan worshipers, we will now see believers worshiping Jesus Christ.
Verse one brings on the scene a Lamb and one hundred and forty-four thousand people having the Father's name written on their foreheads.
We identify today, who the Lamb is and what these people are doing in worship to Jesus Christ.
In today's lesson, we look at the miracles that Satan's worship leader can do and we also discuss the mark of the beast.
What is exactly is this mark? What is its purpose? We will answer these questions and more.
Today's lesson has us looking at the second beast mentioned in Revelation chapter 13.
This beast is not the same beast as is mentioned in the beginning of the chapter. We will review the first beast and introduce this second beast and the unholy trinity of Satan.
What will this beast do? What will the people that are left behind do? We will answer these questions and more in today's lesson.
Revelation 13:1-10 talks of a beast and a dragon. Who or what are these things?
In today's lesson, we identify them, and see how they are going to act during the tribulation period.
Will many people be influenced by them? Yes, many people will be trapped into their lies and will believe and be amazed at the things they see and hear.
Some people will not believe what this dictator will say. They will realize that his words are fromt he devil.
Even today, the devil works through others to try to pull us away from God. How can we distinguish what is from God and what is not? At the end of the lesson, Brother Mark will give some very important concepts to remember, to help us distinguish between what is from God and what is from Satan.
