Romans 15:28-33

28 We perform ministries recording to our plans and purposes

29 We go with the full blessing of Christ’s Gospel

30 We struggle for four priorities in prayer
The Lord Jesus Christ
The Love of the Spirit
As Partners in Prayer
For Servants of Faith

31 We pray for unbelievers, as some may prey on us

32 Our journey requires four spiritual ingredients
Purpose
Prayer
Plans
God’s Will

33 Our God is “thee” God
Patience
Consolation
Hope
Peace

Aim to be Christ-like

Romans 15:1-7

1 - Support and Accept the Weak

2 - Benefit others by Building them up

3 - As Christ, seek to please others

4 - For the OT was written to teach us comfort and hope

5 - May God give us the same mind as Christ

6 - To glorify the Father together

7 - So accept one another as Christ received us to glorify God

You Fill in the Blanks: Meats, Days, or Whatever Part 3

Romans 14:13-23

13 - We should judge ourselves as to tripping another as judging another Christian

14 - Nothing of itself is unclean but if one believes it is unclean to him it is unclean

15 - Liberty to eat should be in love and should not destroy another

16 - 17 - God’s kingdom is more than liberty or legalistic practices of eating or drinking

18 - God accepts a man and approves of our serving God in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit

19 - We need to pursue things which make for peace and edification

20 - Don’t destroy God’s work by forcing believers to do something they think is unclean.

21 - A brother must not eat meat, drink, or practice anything that he stumbles over

22 - Practice faith before God without condemning yourself

23 - Don’t practice that which you doubt.

You Fill in the Blanks: Meats, Days, or Whatever Part 1

Romans 14:1-12

1 - Accept the weak in faith

2 - One believes he can eat anything

3 - For both, weaknesses here are not eating disorders. Despising. Judging. Accepting.

4 - Who are you who judges Christ’s servants?

5 - You need to be fully persuaded as to whatever issues you have on your judgment list.

6 - No matter what side you’re on, perform your list like Jesus

7 - Jesus is our Lord in living and in dying.

8 - the gospel shows us Jesus is Lord. This is who we live and die for.

9 - Jesus is Lord on both sides of the fence.

10. Since He is Lord, why do we judge or despise?

11 - Scripture is our standard

12 - We will give account of ourselves to God.

Genesis 11:1-9, Genesis 12:1-3, Romans 13:1-7

Men continue to live by flesh instead of by promise

Men won’t hear the Law nor the prophets

God reveals cycles of sin

Men chooses government over God

Men’s choices for government include consequences

Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people

God uses authority to establish law and order against evil

Jesus taught us to expect warfare
